  SPECIAL NOTES FOR BOAT OWNERS:
    Coast Guard Advisories:
    • Small Craft - 29 mph winds
    • Gale winds - 39-54 mph
    • Tropical Storm winds - 55-73 mph
    • Typhoon - 74 mph and higher

    Boating Tips:
    • If your boat is small, remove it from the water and take it to a secure location away from flooding zones. Tie the boat securely to the trailer and pack any loose items away
    • Move your boat to a safe harbor well before the storm approaches. Be sure you know ahead of time where this will be.
    • If you are unable to move your boat,  do what you can to mitigate the damage:
      • -- Remove all loose items from the boat and the dock.  Leave nothing unsecured.
      • -- Double up and secure the  mooring lines.
      • -- Secure all hatches and portals and cover the windscreen.
      • -- Use extra fenders. Even used tires can be used to protect the boat.
      • -- Take down the mast if possible.

---- Remember, in many emergencies, your computer will be inaccessible, so a hard copy of any Paradise Organized chapters you find especially helpful is a good thing to have on hand! ----
