The Time Manager

  On Return Home:

Into the Sunset

It always feels good to come home, but it can be a let-down after an exciting trip.

If you were properly prepared before leaving, you'll come home to a clean and organized home, fall into a bed with clean sheets, and wake refreshed the next morning. Well, if you're returning to Guam, you are likely to roll in around 2:00 am after a 19+  hour trip and have to be back at work at 8:00 the next morning.  At least your sheets will be clean.

Things to Do:

Unpack right away.  If you don't, you'll be tripping on suitcases for weeks.  Don't ask me how I know this.

Refill all your travel containers (small shampoos, lotions, etc.) - they'll be ready for

you the next time you want to go.  Then put them away!

Double-check your packing list to be sure you didn't leave anything behind. If you did, now is the time to contact the hotel.

Do the laundry, sort clothing for the dry cleaners. Be sure to lay out clothes for the

next day for the entire family.

Eat a nutritious, low-fat meal and drink plenty of water.

Try to stay awake until the normal bedtime, no matter how tired you are. It'll help you get back on your local schedule.
